HOUSTON, Oct. 17, 2017 – PROS® (NYSE: PRO), a cloud software company powering the shift to modern commerce, today announced that three of its thought leaders will deliver presentations at the Professional Pricing Society (PPS) 28th Annual Fall Pricing Workshops & Conference. This year’s conference – Data, Change Management and the Profit Landscape – brings together thought leaders from around the globe to network with, train and educate members. PPS focuses on both the quantitative and qualitative skills required for today’s top performers.

“In the new era of digital commerce, the pricing discipline has never been more important as companies deal with rapidly changing buyer expectations,” said Doug Fuehne, PROS Vice President of Customer Value and a member of the PPS Board of Advisors. “We’ll share what we believe are the most important success criteria and how dynamic pricing science enables companies to create frictionless and personalized buying experiences that are designed to drive profitability. We look forward to meeting with our customers, partners, prospects and industry thought leaders at another excellent PPS conference.”
PROS thought leaders will deliver three presentations that highlight best practices for driving revenue and profit:

Modern Commerce: Are you Ready: Companies are awakening to a new era of digital business, where buying experiences have forever changed. In his keynote, Fuehne will discuss how the shifts in B2C have quickly migrated to B2B companies where buyers are in control. Leaders must shift to a modern commerce strategy, powered by dynamic pricing science, which escalates the importance the pricing discipline across every company. Fuehne will discuss the essentials and implications to business, along with actions companies can take to reshape their businesses in the digital era.

Pricing is a Team Sport – Success Through Collaboration and Compelling Business Cases: Being smart and working hard doesn’t guarantee short- or long-term success in pricing. PROS Strategic Consultant Joe Dallimore will discuss how collaboration and organizational agility are essential elements for any pricing professional. He will cover how peers in marketing, sales and IT hold the keys to getting things done and how each group requires something different. Dallimore will discuss how to garner the organizational support required to empower individuals and pricing organizations, the keys for success and why successful pricing projects are a catalyst to long-term career success.

Modern Commerce: Prioritization for Pricing and Quoting: PROS Director of Strategic Consulting Caleb Jones will deliver a presentation on how companies can power their modern commerce strategies by embracing eight pillars that ensure their companies thrive in today’s new digital era. Jones will show how to prioritize these pillars and will offer “must do’s” along with a view into how dynamic pricing science enables the process.
