PROS Expands Industry Leadership with Enhanced European Pricing Platform

Organizations Announce Plans for Manufacturing PricingFuel Day

HOUSTON, LONDON & BRUSSELS, September 20, 2011 – PROS (NYSE: PRO), the world leader in pricing and revenue management software, today announced an expanded partnership agreement with the European Pricing Platform (ePP). The two organizations, which have worked together for the past three years, have joined forces with a new commitment to elevate awareness of pricing excellence as a key business priority for business-to-business executive leadership teams across Europe.

The ePP is Europe’s leading knowledge-sharing platform for pricing decision makers. Headquartered in Brussels, the organization is dedicated to developing and sharing pricing-excellence knowledge, best practices and resources. The comprehensive agreement with PROS includes collaboration on white papers, case studies, customer-centric webinars and workshops.

Through the enhanced relationship, PROS and ePP will collaborate to deliver ePP’s Manufacturing PricingFuel Day, scheduled for Oct. 27, 2011, in Munich. The event – themed “Regaining Confidence During Turbulent Times with Best-in-Class Pricing Practices” – will draw pricing executives from leading manufacturing organizations across Europe. The program will include four keynote speakers, break-out sessions, roundtable discussions, panel presentations, and an evening reception and dinner. Deloitte has signed on as the corporate sponsor of the event.

“As organizations navigate the challenges of raw materials and currency volatility, pricing remains at the forefront for B2B companies as they evaluate new opportunities to increase margins, market share and business agility,” said PROS Europe General Manager Wagner Williams. “The European Pricing Platform shares our commitment to escalating pricing excellence and education to executives and their leadership teams. This collaborative partnership underscores a vision and commitment to pricing knowledge and education, as demonstrated by our commitment to Manufacturing PricingFuel Day.”

“The ePP serves as the platform for supporting knowledge sharing and networking for pricing leaders across the continent,” said ePP Chief Executive Officer Pol Vanaerde. “Pricing has become a value driver for companies and their shareholders, and, from our experiences, executives are looking for tools and capabilities to help drive business growth. Our goal is to support and promote pricing knowledge development so that it becomes a strategic element in the CxO agenda. As the global pricing leader, we welcome the PROS partnership, and will work together to advance pricing education and know-how.”
